Suzy Poling’s photographic work is a refreshing blend of natural and man-made textures with obtuse narratives that hint at things both physically beyond the frame as well as chronologically outside the instant the image portrays. Her photographs in some cases appear to be an excuse to play with color, in others it looks like it is about finding the meaning of places in decadence.
